2020年7月，工作室接到一項有趣的項目，新竹九讚頭文化協會邀請我們執行一項深化新竹內灣線鐵路文化旅遊的設計案，推出了「藏在山林裡的內線消息」，這是一項深度旅遊的體驗，遊客可以透過搭乘鐵路火車來體驗當地推薦的店家以及風景景點。
內灣支線的旅遊人數曾高達664萬人次，對熱愛鐵道旅遊的旅者們提供了一個舒適的旅遊景點，無疑是新竹當地旅遊的熱門景點，自1951年開通以來已是台灣當地以及國外旅者們旅遊的最佳處所。
The Neiwan Line: Hsinchu Rail Network Map
This past July, we were consigned by the Hsinchu Jiuzantou Cultural Association with a project that aims to further develop Neiwan Line’s cultural tourism, and is called “an inside message delivered from the deep forest.” This is intended for travelers to explore the local stores and attractions by taking the train.
The Neiwan Branch Line has racked up more than 6.6 million rides, as many rail lovers are very lucky to have a comfortable travel experience across Hsinchu. Neiwan Line is also a tourist attraction, and has been a top choice for domestic and international tourists since the railway station opened in 1951.
新竹內灣線鐵路字型設計呈現梯形的形狀，架構來自觀看鐵道的透視角度，運用不同粗細橫豎來表現字型的節奏感，希望透過由外向內的框架表現出移動的動態感。
The trapezoid shape draws its inspiration from the perspective of travelers gazing at the railway. The thickness of vertical and horizontal lines is aimed to indicate a rhythm, and the framework is symbolic of dynamic movements of a train.
為了呈現內灣火車“山歌號”內部環境，在編排設計上使用不同視角表現火車車廂內的不同角度。
The layout is designed in the way that best captures the indoor design of the train known as “SANGO” so readers can see the rail car interiors from many different perspectives.
內灣線過去運輸林木、礦產、水泥、煤炭等元素，現在用彩繪重現在內灣線列車的車廂內，搭配客家歌手黃連煜創作的《山歌一條路》歌詞，再由書法家何景窗書寫在車廂內部，定名為「山歌列車」，讓這個有老靈魂的列車，展現了新的想像。
The railcar interiors are covered with a variety of colorful images: timber, mining, cement, and coal mining, all of which were once a line of work for locals in old days. This, added with the Chinese calligraphy by Ho Ching-Chwang, who wrote the lyrics of a song “Singing Folk Song along the Path” sung by a Hakka singer, Ayu Huang, lends a fresh air to this train that dated back to many decades ago.
